This activity requires a longer trip along the trails and has the following goals:
- Storing seeds to create a bank that will be available for future restoration projects, so that they can be grown in nurseries and then planted in areas of the river basin that have been degraded by large-scale illegal logging. We will collect seeds from Brazilian teak, Spanish cedar, sandbox, and bulletwood trees.
- Collecting seeds for crafts, especially jewelry-making. For this we will collect seeds from huayruro, Brazilian teak, and palms such as pona, walking palm, and acai.
